This is just a tad less than the length of the drive from any of the nearby major cities with airports (Las Vegas, Flagstaff, Phoenix, etc.).. Conversely, you could hike the 21 miles from the South Rim to the North Rim, but I’ll wait until my kid is older to attempt that myself!
